Doodle Icon Pack Privacy Policy

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how App Builder Labs ("we", "our", "us"), the developer of the Android application Doodle Icon Pack (package name com.doodle.iconpack, published on Google Play under the developer name "App Builder Labs"), handles information in connection with the app. Doodle Icon Pack provides themed launcher icons that you can apply through a supported third-party launcher. The app does not require an account. Core icon-pack features run entirely on your device; the app also includes an optional feature that lets you request new icons, which transmits limited data only when you choose to use it (see Section 3).

2. Information We Collect Automatically

We do not collect any personal data automatically. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising identifiers, and no background tracking. Simply browsing icons and applying the pack sends nothing to us.

3. Data We Collect When You Submit a Request

The app includes an optional feature to request new icons. It only sends data when you actively select apps and submit a request. When you do, we may collect:

The package names and labels of the apps you selected
App icon URI values, if provided by your device
Your current launcher details (label, package name, activity name)
A submission timestamp and which icon pack the request came from
A random device identifier generated by the app (used for rate limiting)

We do not transmit the full list of installed apps on your device. Only the apps and details you choose to submit through the request feature are sent.

4. On-Device Processing & Permissions

To provide icon-pack features, an app may read the list of launchable applications and supported launcher packages installed on your device. This is used only to display compatible apps, an icon gallery, launcher setup guidance, and the app-selection screen for the optional request feature. This processing happens on your device; nothing leaves the device unless you submit a request as described in Section 3.

Process the icon requests you submit and prioritize future icon updates
Detect abuse and apply rate limiting to submissions
Improve icon quality and compatibility across launchers

6. Data Sharing & Storage

We do not sell or rent personal data. Request data you submit is transmitted to and stored on our backend infrastructure provider (Supabase) solely to operate the service. Our apps do not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or data-broker SDKs.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

Request records are retained as needed for product improvement, quality analysis, and abuse prevention.

How to request deletion: Email theappbuilder.labs@gmail.com with the subject "Data deletion", from the device you submitted from or including your app-generated device identifier. We will delete the records associated with you — the selected app names and labels, launcher details, submission timestamps, and your device identifier — within 30 days of the request. Aggregated or anonymized data that no longer identifies you or your device may be retained.

8. Children's Privacy

Our apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
